Over ten years of visits to San Francisco’s Conservatory of Flowers, horticulturalist and writer C.C. recorded moments of quiet contact: hands on leaves, breath on glass, small exchanges of light and moisture. Do Plants Feel? Expanded gathers this work into a single volume of photographs and writing that reflect on intimacy and perception. It invites the reader to slow down, to listen for the language of touch, and to imagine a shared intelligence between people and plants, something that unfolds only through time and care.

This edition includes the expanded third edition of Do Plants Feel? (originally published in 2015 with a first edition of 200 and a second edition of 300 in 2018). It also features Yes, Plants Do Feel (first edition of 300 in 2021) and introduces a new segment, Please Close the Door Behind You.
