while the rise and fall of the motor city may partially be attributed to its namesake, the automobile is often regarded as the greatest invention. however, time has revealed its detrimental consequences to both our health and the environment. a visceral example of this degradation is the effect of the motor vehicle on snow. inverting this visual representation transforms an everyday winter occurrence into something entirely different, yet recognizable.
